The connection to the blog is finally repaired. I am excited about sharing info about what we taste, where we stay and where we eat, with everyone that visits the site. To start with- what is a Wine Mule? One of our daughters, Ariel was tasting wine with us after I returned from a visit to Napa Valley and surrounding area. Her comment was "Jer, you're like a drug mule but instead of dragging in drugs, you bring home great wine. It is so good it should be illegal!" That is when I began thinking about sharing our wine experiences with anyone that would listen. Hopefully, sharing my /our experiences can help each of you understand what is pleasing to your palate. In the coming days, I will share the details of our trip to Napa and Sonoma County.

One of the most important messages to deliver initially is that Napa Valley did not burn as the national media reported. Were there fire there? Yes there were, much of it was in the higher elevations that surround the valley. Every place we visited, we were asked to deliver this message, PLEASE COME BACK TO WINE COUNTRY!

Tomorrow while flying I will share info on the wineries we visited and what we tasted. As I post, if you have questions feel free to send me an email at jerry@wine-mule.com. I look forward to hearing more about each of you and what wines you enjoy.

By the way, I am new to posting and writing a blog. There may be formats on the site that I am learning to use and change. Hang in there, I will figure it out! Cheers, Jerry

What wine are you sipping tonight?
